PLAYER PROFILE:

Marty Quinn brought Jim McMenamin to Clandeboye Park at the start of the 2008/09 Premiership season.Jim arrived at Bangor having previously had spells with Brantwood, Crusaders and Lisburn Distillery.

Jim was an immediate success and formed a formidable partnership with Mark Gracey at the heart of the Bangor defence.

Jim is a firm favourite with the fans. He is a commanding central defender who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and who poses a big aerial threat.

Despite dropping down a division, Jim returned to Bangor for the 2009/10 season under Colin McCurdy.

Jim McMenamin left Bangor in November 2009 as the club tried to reduce their wage bill.
