PLAYER PROFILE:

Eric Halliday first signed Mark Magennis for Bangor in 2004

His first spell at the club was a brief one where he made only two appearances before returning to England

Mark returned to Irish League football the following season and made his name as a skilful midfielder at Limavady United, before making a move to Linfield.

Mark was plagued by injury problems at Linfield and later moved to Dungannon Swifts.

Mark signed for Paul Millar at Bangor in January 2008, but sustained a broken leg on his debut in an Irish Cup match at Mourneview Park.

Mark re-gained his fitness in the second half of the 2008/09 season and scored a memorable goal against Ballymena United in the finla match of the season.

Mark signed for Bangor againa at the start of the 2009/10 Championship season and continues to play a big role in the middle of the park for Bangor.
