 20th October 2009 BANGOR v DERRIAGHY CC
FINAL SCORE FROM CLANDEBOYE PARK:
Bangor 3-4 Derriaghy CC

Bangor had a poor innings at Clandeboye Park on Tuesday evening as were caught out by Derriaghy Cricket Club in a seven goal thriller.
The industrious Wayne Maxwell gave Bangor an early lead, but the Seasiders soon found themselves stumped by three quick-fire Derriaghy goals before half-time.

Derriaghy made it four in the second half with a low drive from distance that managed to slip inside Jim McCurdy's right hand post.
Wayne Maxwell stroked in his second of the night to make it 4-2 and a lack of cover from the Derriaghy defence gave Andy McIntyre a simple chance to make it 4-3 with 8 minutes remaining.   A curling free-kick from Daley Carnduff went narrowly wide and substitute Glen Upton clipped the outside edge of the post when he looked certain to score in the closing minutes.

Full credit to the Derriaghy team who held on to run out 4-3 winners on the night.
