FINAL SCORE FROM HOLM PARK:

Ballinamallard Utd 3-1 Bangor
Bangor Goal Scorer: Andy McIntyre

Bangor have crashed out of the Co-Operative Insurance Cup at the first hurdle. The Seasiders, who were carrying a 1-0 first leg lead into tonight's match fell behind to a 37th minute Andy Crawford header. Ballinamallard's lead lasted just a few minutes as Andy McIntyre lobbed the keeper to score his first goal for Bangor to make it 1-1 on the night.

In the second half, Ballinamallard made it 2-1 with a free header from a corner, and then disaster struck for Bangor defender Mark Whitford when he saw his over-hit 30 yard back pass evade Gareth Maguire and drift into his own net.

Despite some late Bangor pressure, Ballinamallard held out to record the 3-1 victory on the night and 3-2 on aggregate.
