12th June 2009 RESERVES RAISE CASH FOR CANCER RESEARCH News
Bangor Reserves finished their season last month by entering 3 teams into the Belfast Marathon relay.

The team spirit, competitiveness and the craic was superb as usual. A great day was had by all, and this was finished off with a buffet provided by Paul O’Kane in the Groomsport Inn.

The final amount raised for Cancer Research was over £1000.

A special thank you to Marty Verner who took up a bucket collection at the Players Awards nite to push the figure over the £1000 mark.
