CAREER
Bangor FC , Dunmurry FC, Linfield May 1933, Windsor Park Swifts, Manchester United Jan 1937, Huddersfield Town Sept 1938, Derby County (during WW2), Grimsby Town (during WW2), Halifax Town (during WW2), Ipswich Town (during WW2), Bradford PA (during WW2), Ipswich Town May 1946, Ipswich appointed 'A' Team coach June 1951 - June 1953

Harry Baird started his footballing career at Bangor in the early 1930's. He is perhaps most famous for his two year spell at Manchester United between 1936 and 1938. During his time at Manchester United, Harry played 53 games and scored 18 goals.

Harry left Manchester United in September 1938 for Huddersfield Town. Whilst playing for Huddersfield, Harry received his one and only international cap for Northern Ireland. (1939 v England).

After the War, Harry played for Ipswich Town. He made 234 appearances for Ipswich Town and scored 7 goals. Harry made his last appearance for Ipswich in October 1951 and continued on as coach until 1953.
